QCF PLR Readiness Assessment and Support for Awarding Organisations

For the benefit of all awarding organisations, we have produced a set of support materials that help awarding organisations to understand their state of readiness to use the Personal Learning Record (PLR).  This support is accessed by completing a Readiness Assessment. This is designed to take you through a structured process that helps you identify whether your business operations are ready for the implementation and use of the PLR for the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF). 
 
  
The analysis of the answers to your 'readiness assessment' will indentify areas where your awarding organisation may need to take action. It also directs your organisation to appropriate support materials available in those areas.  This includes an easy to use template for preparing an informed business case designed to help and support organisations to secure internal approval and understanding of what is required to implement the PLR for the QCF. 

You will also benefit from analysis results which also provide signposting to relevant materals from the Learning Records Service (LRS) to support your organisation to use the PLR to upload Achievement Data and undertake Credit Transfers.
