Data Governance Overview
The purpose of this document is to explain how MIAP intends to implement data governance and comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.
This document has informed discussions between MIAP and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), recognising that we have worked closely with the ICO’s Office since the inception of MIAP in 2002 and that we will continue to work closely with the ICO Data Challenge Team as MIAP is implemented and developed further. The MIAP Fair Processing Notice (FPN) can in the MIAP Data Governance Overview at Appendix E.
