Common Data Definitions

Data Security
Throughout the development of the Managing Information Across Partners services, protection of an individual’s data has been given the highest priority and the project has worked closely with the Office of the Information Commissioner. Robust data governance and security arrangements have been put in place, in line with the 1998 Data Protection Act and UK Standards. Data will only be shared through secure data transfer and no CDs, memory sticks or other portable storage devices will be used.
