National Pupil Database supports LRS
Details of the National Pupil Database captured in the Autumn 2007 census were loaded into the Learner Registration Service on Thursday 22nd May 2008.
This generated Unique Learner Numbers for more than 1.6 million school pupils over the age of 14 from maintained schools in England.
The LRS system was therefore unavailable after 18:00 on Thursday 22nd so that this data could be loaded. The service was available as usual on Friday 23rd May from 04:00.
